Most doctors including specialists had given up on me as far as giving me any relief for the combined pain that I have to endure with all my problems. The most recent fall/accident left me with a dislocated collarbone & shoulder blade and tore 3 of the rotator muscles in my right shoulder. They said I would just have to live with the pain. I have severe allergies which prevent me from taking chemicals, so I was just out of luck in that department. For years I was able to meditate my way through the day and get by. As more and more new conditions developed I was finally unable to the full 30 minutes. I was using it for 10 minutes before and after exercising but now I only have to use it AFTER the exercises for a quick pick me up in just 10 minutes. I used it both morning and night and as the days went on it lasted longer and longer until by the 5th day or 6th day, I am not sure now, it lasted most of the day. I still use the endogenous opiates releaser at bedtime and in the morning for do the shoulder make a difference in using and NOT using it. Most mornings I wake up with my headset still on and in the same position I was the night before. So I just turn the cd player back on, listen for my morning session, which does not put me to sleep I guess because I wake rested and 90% pain free now, then I am up for the day-the WHOLE DAY. Our daughters wedding reception is in August and I am so looking forward to able to walk in all on my own without my cane (I am walking without it now) and be able to enjoy myself for once without having to leave shortly after arriving because I was too uncomfortable to stay. At a recent graduation BBQ, I talked to several other family members and said it works for me and it would be worth it for them to at least give it a try as well.
